Fine Art
Stephen Farrell first gained some recognition for his final degree project at the University of Wales in 2001, which formed part of a group show by the graduates of Documentary Photography in Photofusion, Brixton, London. This body of work, pairing portraits with architectural views, was also the cover story of ‘Source Photographic Review’ (winter 2001 issue).
Over the subsequent years Stephen has made several contributions to group exhibitions and annual shows in various galleries in Britain and Ireland. Employing a large format field camera with colour sheet film, the slow creative process results in large scale limited edition prints which reside in various private and corporate collections.
